Emily Davis completed her undergrad at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, graduating in 2018 with her performance certificate and a BM in music education. During her time at Crane she studied under Kenneth Andrews and performed in several large ensembles and chamber groups and gave flute lessons at a local boarding school.

In the year following graduation, she taught private lessons and worked as a substitute teacher for grades K-12 in the local public schools. She now attends the University of Maryland, working towards her degree in flute performance under the tutelage of Sarah Frisof.

Emily hopes to combine performing and teaching in her future career, and believes that it is just as important for educators to be performers, as it is for performers to be educators.
